Product Review;

*All opinions are that of my own.

Having a daughter with curly hair is tougher than I thought, so when I reached out to the company OUIDAD, I was at my whits end at how to manage it. I felt I owed it to Big to help her manage her own gorgeous curls. They sent us an AMAZING kit to get started.
Shampoo, Conditioner, Curling gel, Heat protectant & a leave in conditioner. Super generous of them, so thank you!

The shampoo:
So this not only smells fabulous, it works fabulous as well. Usually when it comes to shampoos, I feel
that if you don't use a conditioner afterwards it won't be
soft and silky. NOT TRUE with this particular brand.
The conditioner:
Once again with the fab smells! This leaves Big's hair
feeling beyond silky, almost buttery. Not oily or too
chemical treated feeling. Just naturally soft & shiny.
The curling gel:
Now when I first saw the word gel, I was hesitant.
Gel just seems lumpy & greasy & just not natural feeling,
I was WRONG. This spray styling gel is perfect for keeping
the curls intact if you're letting it air dry, or if you're blow
drying. Big usually goes to bed with her hair still wet & she wakes
up with it all over the place. This gel has helped so so much!

The heat protectant:
Usually I will blow dry & straighten my hair post wash. It was
starting to get a bit damaged, as hair does, from all the heat. This
protectant did just what it says it does, protects! I applied a bit to my
wet hair and after blow drying it out I could totally notice a difference.
The leave-in conditioner:
I am a HUGE fan of leave-in's, anything to help keep my
hair healthy feeling and looking. It's actually been really challenging
to find one that I was happy with. Until I found Ouidad's product, It
has changed the came. My hair is so much smoother & shinier &
healthier. It also helps keep my curls/waves under control if I choose
to let my hair air dry.

So next time you're looking for some new hair care products, go check out Ouidad's to find a retailer new you that carries their products.

This has totally changed the game for me and my daughter when it comes down to how we care for our curls. Get on the train ya'll!

Also, their products are NOT tested on animals.

I'm back!

So sorry I have been m.i.a. for over a month now. I was in the hospital for some time with something I had never even heard of, pancreatitis. It was scary & maddening what was happening, being in that sort of pain was terrifying. (yes, worse than 2 horrific labors) With all of that being said, I am doing fantastic now 35 lbs lighter & eating pretty healthy these days. I am back in the routine of being a stay at home mom with my girls all day. We have finally got summer back on track. Feels really good. I am so appreciative of my family & friends support through this hard time they have been amazing. I will be back to posting things this coming up Monday, so be on the look out! Enjoy what's left of summer with the ones you love.

Product Review: NEATCHEEKS

When we received our sample pack last weekend we were so stoked! We, being me and my 7.5 year old! LOL We couldn't wait to try them out on Birdie. (11 months) As most babies, she despises having her face wiped after meals, so much so that it was becoming quite the hassle. Yet with these wipes, the ball game has changed my friends. They are flavored with Stevia. You heard me right, STEVIA FLAVORED! How cool huh? No wonder babies & toddlers everywhere are no longer turning their heads for face wiping.

I was sent 6 packs & quickly passed them out to my mama friends! They fell in love. Head over heels in LOVE as well. Even our older kiddos loved these wipes. Having my 11 month old not claw or aggressively turn away from me when she sees the wipe coming nearer is something of magic. Instead now she lights up with excitement & is utterly thrilled when it comes time to wipe her face. Who wouldn't want that?

Did you know that NEATCHEEKS are natural? Yep, here's the ingredients; Stevia Rebaudiana Extract, Purified Water, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf, Lonicera Caprifolium Flower Extract and Lonicera Japonica Flower Extract, Sodium Lauryglucosides Hydroxypropyl Sulfonate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid. I know some of those sounds like extremely large words, have no fear, you will find out exactly what they all mean right here!

I was a little worried that they would be sticky, or leave a residue, so finding out that they didn't was a huge relief! This company did something that us mamas should applaud, they found a way to get our kiddos to not fight us when it comes to wiping their faces! Bravo to them.

If this company looks familiar it's because they were on Shark Tank back in April, where they have certainly come along way since. They are all over Instagram, TwitterFacebook and the mommy blogger pages. So go hop on the band wagon, you and your tots will be wiping on a smile in now time. To find a retailer near you go here now!
